I'm Here

Its time for me to clean up my blog and start posting again. A lot has happened since the last time I posted in June. It just got really busy for me and my family. First of all my husband and I started kicking butt losing weight as of today we have lost 108 pounds together. He lost 71 and I lost 37. It really bugs me he can lose that much weight in five months and I only lost 37. I guess its true men can lose weight faster than women. But I just keep on eating right and exercising.
In July was a very busy month we went on a trip/family reunion to Austin TX for the Fourth of July week. We had a great time. Than a week and half later my husband and I went to Dallas TX to see Lady Gaga. I really enjoyed the show.
Being of August my daughter started band camp at school. She wasn't to happy her summer was cut short but she did love going and hanging out with band friends and that lasted until school started. And between that time getting her ready for school buying school clothes. I really hate buying school supplies for High school student. She doesn't get her list until school starts to see what the teachers want the student to have and we go shopping everything is almost gone. That drives me crazy.
I've also been crafting and making cards because I'm showing/sale my stuff at a craft show at the library.
Didn't sale much but at least I made enough to cover my spot in library.
Can you believe the holidays are just around the corner. I really need to start working on my gifts for some of the family.
I hope everyone is enjoying the fall weather and making beautiful creations. Until next time have a great day.

Congratulation Cards

I made some congratulations  cards for a customer. She wanted for her graduates at Texas Tech University. So I purchased the Texas Tech paper at a local scrapbooking store. I used a stamp image from Sassy Studio stamps. I so love their stamp images if you would to check them out here is web site http://buysassystudiodesigns.blogspot.com/
I colored the image with Copic sketch markers and used some flowers and just a little bling. I think they came out great. What do you think? Leave some love, I enjoy readying your comments.

Congratulation Cards:

I also made another congratulation card for another customer. Hubby wasn't to fond about me making this card because it was for University of Texas the Longhorns.
Man are crazy about their football teams and colleges.

Graduation Invites

Wow! I can't believe its already April. That means warmer weather coming our way. Can't wait to go fishing with my family.

I've been busy the last two weeks in March. Making graduation invitations for a family member. Making 150 took a lot of time. Cutting printing and taping them together. I also made 150 graduation party invites to go with graduation invitations.
I am glad that's over I almost didn't want to see paper and my TGA anymore. I said almost, LOL!
Well here is a view of the invitations I made.

I think they turned out really cute. I couldn't bling them up since they were  for a boy's graduation.

Butterfly Card

Happy Friday my followers. I hope your Friday is turning out great. Well for mine, is going very well except for being stuck at work but the weather is so beautiful outside. Can you believe we've reached 80 degrees today. Makes me feel that I need to go shopping for new flip flops.  I love wearing flip flops the more they are decorated the more I want to wear them.
I would like to share a Springing card with everyone. I know its a couple days early for Spring but I just love Springing colors. If you like my stamp image and would like to know where I received it. I purchased it from

Do you like? Leave some love, I really do love reading your messages.
Do you like to watch butterflies? I do, they're so pretty. Once I was eating lunch outside on my hour lunch and this butterfly kept flying around me. I couldn't believe how close the butterfly was getting to me. Than I realized he just landed on my shoulder. I have never had a butterfly land on me before.
I hope it means I will have good luck.

Wooden Dress Form

I found the wooden dress form from Scrapbooking with me boutique. You can check out what she has for sale on facebook
 My dress form make over:

I started out with a light wood dress form.
I used Tim Holtz distress ink to darken the wood.
The dress I made it out of one of Tim Holtz's paper pad.
The lace was white. I distress it with Tim Holtz's distress ink, same color I used on the wood.
Laced the ribbon around the layered edges of the dress.
The embellishments I used on the dress is from my collection of Tim Holtz's goodies.
The necklace I used an off white ribbon and the key is from my collection that my scrappy friends send me.

I hope you like the turn out of my dress form. I loved the way it came out and grunge and steampunk.

For A Birthday Boy

Am I the only one has a hard time making something for a boy. I do, I guess because I only have girls and I want to bling every thing up. So, I decided to challenge myself to make a birthday box for a boy. I found the dog image online and thought it would look super cute on the box.
Since the dog is wearing a camouflage scarf and hat I thought I would use camouflage paper to cover the box I made by scratch, and I used some Army stickers to decorate the sides. And yes it was hard for me to not bling it up. LOL!!
The box is 5x5 and placed an easel card on top. The box is big enough to fill it up with candy, cars or even those little green soldiers.

What do you think?
I think I can pat my self on the back. It turned out super cute.

Birthday box with easel card

I made a birthday box by scratch and placed an easel card on top of the box. The box is a 5x5 very good size to stuff it with candy, money or even crafty supplies for a special person. I really love making these for people.
This box I used school paper from Texas Tech University. It was very easy to use since the colors are red and black. and of course I blinged it up. My favorite part. The cheerleader I used is an image from Sassy Studio Stamps.

I hope you like the box I created.
I hope everyone stays warm and safe from these really cold storms. Where I live we won't hit over 20 degrees and possible snow tonight. Hope enough to have the day off from work.

Birthday card and candy box

Welcome! I just love making gifts for my friends birthdays. I used a cut from Silhouette Cameo for the box. I found the mouse & cake image off of pinterest.
I thought it was way to cute to pass it up. I printed it out and colored it with my copics.
My friend really loved her card and candy box.
