Wooden Dress Form

I found the wooden dress form from Scrapbooking with me boutique. You can check out what she has for sale on facebook
 My dress form make over:

I started out with a light wood dress form.
I used Tim Holtz distress ink to darken the wood.
The dress I made it out of one of Tim Holtz's paper pad.
The lace was white. I distress it with Tim Holtz's distress ink, same color I used on the wood.
Laced the ribbon around the layered edges of the dress.
The embellishments I used on the dress is from my collection of Tim Holtz's goodies.
The necklace I used an off white ribbon and the key is from my collection that my scrappy friends send me.

I hope you like the turn out of my dress form. I loved the way it came out and grunge and steampunk.

For A Birthday Boy

Am I the only one has a hard time making something for a boy. I do, I guess because I only have girls and I want to bling every thing up. So, I decided to challenge myself to make a birthday box for a boy. I found the dog image online and thought it would look super cute on the box.
Since the dog is wearing a camouflage scarf and hat I thought I would use camouflage paper to cover the box I made by scratch, and I used some Army stickers to decorate the sides. And yes it was hard for me to not bling it up. LOL!!
The box is 5x5 and placed an easel card on top. The box is big enough to fill it up with candy, cars or even those little green soldiers.

What do you think?
I think I can pat my self on the back. It turned out super cute.

Birthday box with easel card

I made a birthday box by scratch and placed an easel card on top of the box. The box is a 5x5 very good size to stuff it with candy, money or even crafty supplies for a special person. I really love making these for people.
This box I used school paper from Texas Tech University. It was very easy to use since the colors are red and black. and of course I blinged it up. My favorite part. The cheerleader I used is an image from Sassy Studio Stamps.

I hope you like the box I created.
I hope everyone stays warm and safe from these really cold storms. Where I live we won't hit over 20 degrees and possible snow tonight. Hope enough to have the day off from work.
